You have finally found the perfect chair (sofa, loveseat, etc.) with the ugliest upholstery you have ever seen. What to do? You’re not going to pass up that perfect chair just because of the sorry upholstery, are you? Are you crazy? We got your back!

Here’s what you do: (1) Hurry! Buy the chair before someone else does – whew….that was close! (2) Grab a latte and head for our design studio (I know it is a back room, but studio sounds so cool!). Our expert design staff will help you choose the fabric that is perfect for your new chair!, and (3) go home…. Take a nap. Divine Consign’s expert upholsterers will take it from there. In no time, we will be calling you to let you know your awesome new chair is ready to pick up (or for delivery).

In keeping with the Divine Consign philosophy, the process is easy and CHEAP! For instance, Divine Consign can upholster your basic dining chair for $19.99 per chair plus fabric. I know, right? Crazy CHEAP!

Custom Drapery

So now you have your awesome chair at home and it completely clashes with the curtains you bought when Linens and Things was going out of business. Have you shopped for drapery lately? It’s ridiculous! It’s way too expensive, they never have the right size to fit your window and they expect you to pick fabric from their ready-made selection of bagged up curtains. When you finally select the curtains, the month long process of negotiating with your husband to hang them begins. I am exhausted just thinking about it!

Why in the world would you even consider that? Here is what you do. For basically the same price, bring a photo of your dream curtains to our design studio (no we won’t tell your dentist that you ripped it out of his magazine). Pick out the perfect fabric for your drapes from our vast selection of designer fabrics. Schedule an appointment. Our expert drapery artist will come to your house and measure your windows. He will take the fabric you chose and turn it into the drapes of your dreams! Not sure what you style of drapes you want? Come to our design studio, meet with our designers and check out our design library full of 100s of drapery ideas.

While your friends are frustrated sifting through the bags of drapes at Carson’s latest white sale, you can take a bubble bath. Our experts will be busy making your custom drapes. Nothing finishes a room like drapes that were actually made to fit your windows!

So how about installation? We do that too! No more honey-do lists. Our experts will come to your house and install your drapes for you. Not only will it save a marital squabble, but you won’t be terrified that the drapes will crash to the ground anytime somebody walks by them. AND IT IS CHEAP!

Don’t worry, we don’t hire just anybody to make your drapes or upholster your chair. David, who does drapery and upholstering, actually did drapes for Madonna! How’s that for quality? Can you imagine what stories those drapes could tell? Anyway, I digress.

So… Bottom line….custom drapery is no longer crazy expensive and the process is easy. That’s just how we roll……Trust me…. Would I kid you?

I know what you are thinking…. Sounds expensive, right? Did you forget who you were talking to? It’s Divine Consign. It’s NOT expensive. If you come into the store, we would be happy to give you all of the free advice we can. For those who need more assistance, we offer a two hour in-home consultation for $99. Ask us whatever you want (no, not about astrophysics…..about design) – space planning? Color selection? Furniture arranging? Whatever you need. Our designers are available for additional in-home consultation for $45 per hour. Stop by and talk to any of us – we are happy to help!

Home Staging

Are you selling your house? Then you know that first impression count. Prospective buyers have the luxury of being choosy these days, and they know it! Let Divine Consign help you stage your house so buyers will be able to see its full potential (and full value)!

So, how can we help you stage your home? So glad you asked! First, all of the furniture in our showroom is available for rent. Whether you need a couple pieces or a complete house full of furniture, you will find it here. How does our rental work? Our furniture is available for rent by paying 50% of the list price. This covers the rental for the first 60 days. The rent is 20% of the list price for each month thereafter. So, if you find a $100 dining table that you would like to rent, you can do so for $50 for the first 60 days. If you need more time, continue to rent the table for an additional $20 per month.

If rental does not seem the most cost-effective solution for you (since, in this market, it is hard to say how long your house will be on the market), there are other options. Many people choose to purchase furniture outright for staging. When they are done with the furniture, we offer them the opportunity to consign it back with us. Thus, allowing them to recoup up to 50% of their initial investment. This makes sense for anyone who may need to keep the furniture for more than three months.
